Orient Power started the era of composite station post insulators design and manufacture in 1999. According to the parameters in the IEC273 standard, we manufacture 15KV 4KN composite station post insulators.
After the first positive operating experiences with these applications, it was a logical step to use the composite insulator concept with Silicone Rubber housing for power line applications as well. It was designed, resulting from the need to eliminate the contamination-related outages by replacing the original, porcelain insulator designs.
Customers accompanied with the detailed drawings showing the dimensions of the individual insulator, giving all the design dimensions of various component parts. We are fully in accordance with the drawings to manufacture this product.

The tests for 15KV 4KN composite station post insulators contain verification of dimensions, temperature cycle test, mechanical strength test, porosity test and visual examination.
Sometimes we test the insulators according to the customers’ requirements.
15KV 4KN composite station post insulators packing:
All composite station post insulators shall be packed in crates or boxes suitable for rough handling. Packing shall be marked with the strength and voltage rating.
