Composite suspension insulator consists of three basic parts: FRP (Fiber glass reinforced core rod) core, silicone rubber housing, metal end fitting.
Orient Power China 220 KV suspension insulator production process:
Housing is formed by high pressure automatic injection moulding machine which injects silicone rubber. Both housing and core are chemically boned together during this progress.
End fittings are assembled by pressure controlled multi step crimping process.
